This policy applies to Kelly Electric Ltd, trading asKelly Electric, and to this website.

What we collect

We only collect what you type in. There are two places to do that: the chat window in the corner of the page, and the quote form at the end of the cost guide. Both ask for the same things.

• Your name.
• Your phone number.
• Your email address.
• What you told us about the job, including the address of the property if you give it.
• The conversation itself, if you used the chat.

Separately, and without you typing anything, the site records ordinary web analytics: which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and whether the visit arrived from a Google ad. No name is attached to any of that.

How we use it

To quote your job and to do the work. Rory reads what you sent, calls or texts you back, and keeps the details so the job can be scheduled and invoiced. The analytics are used to understand which pages are useful and whether advertising is worth the money.

We do not send marketing emails or marketing texts. If we contact you it is about the job you asked us about.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number, you may receive a text confirming we have your request and telling you what happens next. You are told this beside the field where you enter the number, before you submit it.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Full terms are on the SMS terms page.

SMS consent is not shared with third parties. No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Who else sees it

We do not sell this information. It reaches only the companies that run parts of this service, and only so that those parts work:

• The company that hosts this website and delivers its pages.
• The company that sends the notification email carrying your enquiry to Rory.
• Our telephone provider, which carries the calls and the text messages.
• The software that records your enquiry so it is not lost, and the analytics and advertising measurement described above.

Each of them handles the information only to provide that service to us. We do not give it to anyone else, and we do not give it to anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and job records are kept while they are needed for the work and for as long afterwards as tax and business records require. Chat conversations that never became a job are kept no longer than is useful for answering the next similar question.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@kellyelectricltd.com and say what you want. If you would rather not give a phone number at all, call us instead and give nothing to the website.
